Hat Parade to Fight Cancer

The American Cancer Society is holding a “Hat Parade to Fight Cancer” on Thursday April 30th, during Kentucky’s Derby Week.

The hat symbolizes survivorship and the hope of preventing, detecting and finding cures for the cancer into action by making cancer a national priority.

To participate in this event you create a derby hat and pay $ 1.00 to wear your hat to school. Prizes will be given out to the top 3 students who have the most creative hat and a pizza party for the homeroom that has the most students to participate in this event. All money raised will go to the American Cancer Society.
