Just a reminder that the Fall Festival is just about a week away!! We would like to keep you updated on all the happenings!



Chandlers Fall Festival "Under the Big Top" Friday - October 23, 2009 5:00 pm - ?

Game Booths and Silent Auction from 5:00 - 7:00 pm

Box Top Challenge - Mr. Darnall's Ducktation 7:00 - 7:30 pm

Volunteers are needed to send items for baskets, volunteer to help with games, work the ticket booths, bake cakes for the cake walk and much much more.



If you would like to donate items to the baskets for the auction, here are the themes...

Preschool: Toy Basket

K: Disney

1st: Cleaning Basket

2nd: Chandler's Spirit

3rd: Coupons and Gift Certificates

4th: Car Wash

5th: UK Spirit

Laughter: Fishing Gear

Brooks: Baby Basket

Pryor: John Deere

Barnett: Family Fun Night Basket

8th: Lotion Basket

Raffles for Fall Festival

There will be several raffles going on for fall festival. If you would like to send money for these during the week, you may. Students will have the opportunity to purchase tickets before school starts and during lunch next week. Here are some of the details.

• "Win a Wii!" This is sponsored by the PTSO. The prices for raffle tickets are 1 for $1.00 or 6 for $5.00.
• "Box of Books" This is sponsored by the Student Run Bookstore, Book Bonaza. The tickets for the box of books and school supplies are 1 for 25 cents or 5 for a dollar.
• A $100 Gas Card is sponsored by 2nd grade. The cost of tickets are one ticke for $1 or 6 tickets for $5. There is a $10 prize to the student who sells the most raffle tickets and a $10 prize to the student who sells the winning ticket.

You do not have to be present to win. Winners will be announced during the auction.

Bears Under the Big Top

This year our Fall Festival will have circus theme, "Bears Under the Big Top." It will be held on October 24th (that's next Friday night). Games and food will begin at 4:30 pm and the auction will start at 6:45 pm. If you would like to help, contact the PTSO officers. They will appreciate all the help they can get for this big night.

Each grade level is sponsoring a basket to be auctioned. Contact your child's teacher(s) if you have questions about the baskets.

PTSO would like everyone to join in the fun all next week with special events each day.
Monday - Tuesday: Classes decorate their doors (winning class will receive a prize).
Wednesday: Crazy hat day
Thursday: Tacky Day
Friday: Purple and White Day
