We will be hosting our first family fun night on Tuesday, September 1st from 5-6:30. Please join us for the following:

• Primary--Math Night
• Intermediate--Native American Crafts (come make your own Chia Pet!)
• Middle School--Japanese and French culture (learn origami!)

The Earth Dome Assembly will take place on Tuesday, September 1st for grades 2-8; preschool and first grade will be walking through the exhibit in between performances.

Finally, thank you to all of the parents that participated in the PTO meeting on August 10th. This set a new record for attendance!

Tuesday, August 11th

Good Morning! It's a great day at Chandler's School. We just completed the morning meeting, just a reminder that all parents are welcome and encouraged to join the excitement in the gym from 7:30-7:40. Also, to clear up any confusion, parents/guardians are still allowed to walk students to the classrooms in the mornings.

If you are picking up your child inside the school building in the afternoons, please note that we need you to follow your child to the cafeteria and exit in the car rider area rather than taking them out of line in the front lobby. This may be a bit inconvenient, but it is school policy and simply a means of providing the most protection for your child.

The SBDM committee will meet this afternoon at 4 p.m. The committee is in charge of directing and guiding all school decisions.

Middle school football kicks off this Thursday with a home game against Butler County Middle. Good luck to the team!

Just a note for parents: the early dismissal on Fridays provides a window of opportunity for the teachers to meet and improve the instruction for your children. Last Friday, nearly all teachers were still working hard at 4 p.m.
